Last minute rule change for Paris
Ten days before the start of the Games the FIH published a change to the rules for the 3 reserve players
On July 16 the FIH published its newest update to the specific rules for the Paris Games. That’s some ten days before the start and after all team selections have been made and announced.
In it a rule change allowing more flexibility in using the reserve players. A change most coaches will welcome. Though would have preferred knowing about earlier, when making their selection…
It follows the rule change for all team sports with alternate players made by the IOC the week before.
